The engineering company came into school this week to turn all our Year 5 pupils into working civil engineers.
Girl Power in 5JM - Alyssa, Skye, Marwa and Mollie - won the challenge with their bridge holding 10.5kg. They put their success down to "teamwork" and their "maths knowledge". The children all had a great day, enjoying "building an actual bridge and being an actual engineer." Bam Nuttall agreed: " The children were all very well behaved and we had a great day too. It is always lovely to show a bit about what we do and why we love it."
