500 Words
On Thursday, a group of Year 3 and 4 boys competed in the annual Sandown Football Tournament. The boys played well and battled hard against some tough rivals finishing 4th out of 10. A big well done to the players and thank you to all the parents who came out to support them.
Sporting News
At Blacklands, one of the ways we will be engaging pupils is through our Reading for Pleasure lessons. We will have books in every classroom which celebrate Black authors and tell stories which will support our pupils to understand Black histories, going beyond stories of racism and slavery to spotlight Black achievement.
