Saturday 23 April, 10:30-3:30

Ark Helenswood Academy - The Ridge, St. Leonards-on-Sea, East Sussex, TN37 7PS

Navigating changes to the curriculum is a key part of every teacher’s role – and with on-going changes to how core subjects are assessed, it’s more important than ever to have the support, training and expertise needed to navigate those changes.

These free, interactive workshops bring together curriculum and assessment leads – who will be discussing the recent changes -  giving you the opportunity to improve your understanding of your subject’s curriculum, quiz the experts and develop best practice methods for delivering new curricula.

The workshops are both open and tailored individually to primary and secondary teachers from across the UK, with opportunities to explore the new curriculum, share best practice and get expert tips on mastering the changes – and delivering the best outcomes for your school and pupils. There will also be a chance for you to network with peers and enjoy refreshments.

The event will be held at Helenswood Academy in partnership with all Ark Hastings schools. This year, Ark Helenswood Academy was identified as Hasting's best-performing school, with the best GCSE results in the town, the highest percentage of students achieving the English Baccalaureate and the joint-highest improvement in results since 2014.

“Ark's vision and dedication to improving and developing practice and challenging the norm has been inspiring.” - Delegate at our "Teach Like a Top Athlete" event at Ark Globe Academy

As well as being one of the most successful school networks in the country, Ark is at the forefront of professional development for teachers, both for those teaching within and outside of the network. This is the latest in our series of professional development workshops on curriculum changes, which has seen hundreds of teachers in London and Birmingham come together to share expertise and best practice on life after levels.
